The next morning, the club's new president, Dr. Manette, meets with the new members and asks them if they'd like to join the club. They all agree that they would like to be a part of the club, but they're not sure if they want to join for the fun of it, or for the research they'll do in the future. The new president asks one of the members if he's ever seen a person in the club registry who's a "cursebreaker" or a "mutant" , and the person says that he'd never seen anyone in the registry who was a "demonic aura" . He then shows the new member the mark on his dad's shirt, and asks if he can pull it down a little bit. He's got a message for the new guy: his dad is a demon.
