The demon tells the brat that the fate of his family rests in his hands. The brat is shocked to learn that the curse has been brought upon his family. He asks the brat if he has seen Little Em'ly, and the brat says he hasn't. The demon then asks if the brat is a cursebreaker. He says the brat has caused so much trouble that the demons have been unable to talk to him. He calls the brat a "dirty bastard" and a "spiritual weapon." The brat asks if he is looking for him because he killed someone, or because of the little lady, and he says he likes her, but he is blushing. He is angry, but the brat shuts his mouth.
