This chapter opens with the treasurer of the evil smirk guild, Agni, speaking to the other members of the guild. He tells them that they are afraid of their master, Master lusafi, and that they should purify themselves before they face him. He explains that he was the one who altered the financial report submitted by the guild to the kingdom, until one of the buto was caught attacking a village. Agni says that he thought they deserved the death penalty, but he was wrong. He says that the people who forced him to do this were the ones who made him realize that his actions were not in accordance with the legacy of Master sev. He adds that he is trying to expose the whole truth of the situation. He promises to devote his body and soul to Master angkasa.
