It's the voice of the princess, and she's crying out for help. Agni runs off to find the scroll, but he can't find it. He's not even sure if he's married yet, so he gives the scroll to the master. He doesn't want to give the proof of his corruption to anyone. He just wants to help the princess get back on her feet.
