In this chapter, we learn that Hiro has failed four times in his attempt to become a hero. He's depressed because he's been snubbed by his classmates. He decides to skip class to cheer himself up. He tells everyone that he wants to be like the girl he bumped into earlier in the day, who's now an idol to him. He asks everyone to come in and cheer him up. Everyone does, and Hiro tells them that they can take the seat next to him and be friends with the girl. Hiro tells everyone to get away from the girl because she's a stalker. He wants to know if they can go home together tonight. Hiro asks everyone if they'd like to go back to school together. Everyone says yes, but Hiro is worried that they're going to get into a fight with the school's students. He says that he'll have to go home alone tonight.
