About This Chapter
The next morning, Huck finds himself in the middle of a conversation with his son, who has just returned from a visit with his father. Huck tells the boy that his father loves him more than anything else in the world, and that he's glad that they're back on the farm. Huck asks if he can call his father, and the boy replies that he can. Huck then asks if there's any evidence that the coyotes are responsible for the disappearance of the pig. The boy says that there is, but he doesn't know why his father would hide such a thing. Huck says that if his father really was behind the disappearance, it would be easier for him to find out.
