About This Chapter
As time passes, the house of Adalheidis grows more and more like a manor. The house's sixth sense and special powers are still there, but they're not as powerful as they once were. Heidi, however, is still able to communicate with the outside world, and she's able to control the manor's energy. She's also able to send messages back to her father, who is the guardian of the manor. Now that he's been able to get his wish, he wants to know what happened to the manor, and what's going on with his daughter. He tells his wife that he can't be angry with his family, because they live in the safest place in the world. He also tells her that he wishes he could get revenge on them, but that hatred is useless, because it doesn't matter where they live. He says that he exists to protect them, and that's why he created the manor in the first place. Now, he says, he can lead Peter and his family in the right direction, if he grants his wish. He's happy to know that his wish is granted, and he wishes that his daughter would like to go away to live with him.
