He also tells his mother that he always asks someone else to go with him to the bathroom when he needs to go, and that's because there's no one else in the house. Aww, mom, you've locked him in the bedroom again, right? Well, maybe he can stop being so scared. He also says that if he gets even more scared, he'll ask his mom to come with him, but mom won't listen to him, because she's already a fifth grader, and she doesn't want her kid to be scared of darkness.
