About This Chapter
In this short scene, we meet a young man who works at a graveyard. He's just returned from a night watch, and he's bummed that his boss, who's away on business, isn't there to pick him up. We learn that the boss's wife is sick, and the boss is taking care of her. The young man is bummed that he can't go back to work because there's nothing to do, but he decides to stay and play cards with the guy upstairs. He tells the young man about his "hallucination" , which is when he is "panicked" or "fearful" . He wants to know if his hallucinations are real or if they're just part of his hallucination. He says that his wife used to be an energetic person, but now she's "sticking to her phone," and he wants to prank her. He shows her a car in a drive-thru, and then he tells her that the car is honking its horn, which means the customer is honking his horn, too.
