About This Chapter
Meanwhile, back at the little town, Peorian and his men are busy shoveling the underground grave of the dead beast. Peorian is worried that the angels will refuse to help them bury the beast, but he begs them to remember that they are "damned to this hell" every day. He tells them that they must not question the plan of the goo. He says that the girl and her friends still have the smell of the beast's "blood" on them, and they should just wipe it out. He also says that he believes that the beast is one of the pishlieu sons, and that he has just seen one of his visions. He asks if there are any angels in the town, and Peorian says that there are.
