In this short scene, we meet a young man who is in his first year of college. He's working as a waiter at a fancy downtown restaurant. He asks the young man about his job. The young man tells him that he's doing an internship at the fancy restaurant and that it's all very exciting. He also says that he doesn't like the job at all because he can't really think of anything to be excited about. He says that yesterday someone dressed up as a cryptid showed up at the restaurant, and that's kind of weird, but he'll have to wait and see if it turns out to be the real thing. We learn that this young man's favorite thing to do is to go to the theater and watch movies. He tells us that his favorite part of his job is to watch movies with his friends. This young man is so excited to see his friends again that he wants to meet them.
