In this chapter, we are introduced to the doctor of pediatrics and his assistant. The doctor tells the assistant that the little sister has been removed from her mother's womb and placed in the care of another woman. The assistant, however, does not believe the doctor's story, and the doctor tells him that his mother had an abortion and that the baby is now a "spawn of satan." The assistant is shocked at the news, and he begins to argue with the doctor, accusing him of being a "spewing pig" who is going to "get you sayin' shes loose."
