He asks her where her granddaughter is, and she tells him that she saw her go out at dusk, but that she did not tell him where she went. She asks him not to do such a thing again, but he refuses to listen to her, saying that he was praying for the health of his granddaughter. The old woman asks him to look after her granddaughter, and the young man says that he cannot remember what is happening. He tries to find his way back to the house, but it is too late.
