Hirokazu and Ganymede return to the hotel, and Hiro asks to speak to his father. He tells his father that he is forcing his children to follow their parents' example, and that he does not want his own children to do the same. His father, however, does not approve of his son's desire to become a doctor, and he insists that he keep his grades the same as they were when he was a student. He also tells his son that he has broken off his relationship with Mina. He has been relying on Mina to save him, and she has not been able to do so.
