In this short scene, peizhi tells us that he is taking his master and his servant to sell their wares at a calligraphy shop in order to avoid meeting Mr. Ganz again. Unsure of what to do, he asks Ganz what he is holding, and when Ganz refuses to answer, he tells him to tell his master that he does not want to give anything to him.
