Minister Wang is unreasonable in his questioning of the group. He arrests them without any evidence, and they do not know what they have been up to. They do not like each other, because they would not mention him otherwise. Mr. Gong says that he borrowed his work because he admires Mr. Ming and wishes that he could write a book that would benefit both of them. They turn the story into a romantic comedy, which is much better than the martial hero stories that Ming wrote. They then turn it into a play, which will be known all over the world.
