The alchemist explains that the dragon hunter has been defeated and that he and his companions have found the time machine which will take him back to the present. He explains that if he had not disappeared, he would not have been able to defeat the dragon, and neither would the other alchemists in the future. He tells them not to worry about it, and they agree to meet again in another future
