The next morning, Mashiro wakes up to find that the door to the club room has been fixed. He asks if there was a fight between the two of them at the entrance party, and is told that it was awkward to discuss it with the prez. He also tells him that he hasn't seen Hiromi in a while, and that he hopes that will change. Mashiro asks if he can see him in the library, and he says that he has been spacing out in the main building of the library. He says that when he first came to the university library, he bumped into a tall man, who was taller than him. He thanks him for coming to help him with the experiment, and asks him to come again the next day.
