The next morning, Hirokazu scolds Tommo for not taking his time to wear his wedding ring. He also scolds him for not giving him his graduation thesis, which he is supposed to present at a big party. He tells Tommo that he is engaged to his "super cute girl friend" and that his life is "such a smooth sailing" . He then tells him that his wife is away and that he cannot go to the big party because he has a part-time job. He asks if the girl friend has told him that she is quitting school and that she can no longer see him. The girl friend told him to tell her not to worry too much about her and to tell him to not worry about her "all she must be" , but she did not tell him what she meant. He wonders what he should do, but actually here , that ring will a "dream of the past." He then asks if he is okay in his "horrible" situation.
