In this chapter, we learn that Mina has been working hard on a new drug, and that Shmoop has been trying to get the project moving. Mina tells us that she's heard a rumor that they're going to have a joint event with a company called mikage, which is a fancy name for Proteus. Mina says that she doesn't understand what's going on, but that she just wants to do the right thing. She wants to give out free samples of the new drug to people who need them, and she wants to make sure that no one sees her in her new jacket. She tells Mina that she can't be angry with him, because he's the one who's supposed to be angry. Mina tries to calm her down, telling her that it's not her fault that she has to be so angry. She also tells her that she hasn't had a good greeting at work in a while, so she hopes she'll get it together soon.
