The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night thinking about how he's going to get a new job in the morning. He tells himself that he'll go to a shooting and then he'd better get to work. He's so excited that he can't stop talking about how awesome he is and how much he loves his job. The narrator is so excited about his new job that he starts to sweat.
