About This Chapter
The next night, the group goes to a luau, but the girls are not allowed to drink their drinks out of their hands, so they end up sleeping outside. When they wake up, they find that they've been bitten by mosquitos, and the girls don't get any sleep for a week. The next day, the girls go for a walk, but they're too tired to go out. The girls decide to spend the afternoon at the beach, and then they'll head back to the camp for dinner and a nap. They'll be back in the cafeteria at nine the next morning, so the girls can have a little alone time. The narrator tells the girls that they can have their best Sunday ever, and that they should put on their best clothes that night. He also tells them that he doesn't want them to feel guilty about anything, since they didn't have anything to do with it. He asks if they'd like to show him their sketchbook someday, and they all agree that it's a sensitive subject.
