Meanwhile, back at school, Huck's dad is trying to get Huck to make a decision. He tells Huck to go back to his room and finish his paper. Huck is all, "I have something to do with this." He's furious that he's being forced to do something he doesn't want to do. He'd rather die than go to school with Huck, who's clearly not going to do anything to help him.
