About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a soliloquy by Yuzuruiha, in which she laments the fact that the sex scene between her and Hirokazu has "gone under" . She laments that the relationship between them has become "terribly warped" , and she wonders if they will ever be able to "reconcile" again. She wonders if she will have to "stop snuggling up" to him, and wonders if he will "repeat the same mistake" as before. She sighs that she "probably" will, but she is certain that he will not repeat the mistake. The two begin to talk, and the conversation is interrupted by the sound of a wet towel. The wet towel makes her feel warm and comfortable, and it reminds her of the "fe male cli ent" she is about to have. She thanks him for coming by "tude" and asks him if he would like a warm drink. He replies that he would, but that he hates the rain, which always makes his clothes stick to him. He tells her that he has never seen a woman in such a "good mood" before, and that he could never "put people at ease" like that. He asks her if she has any ideas for a new approach to their conversation. She muses that perhaps they could "take a risk" and come up with something new.
