Hiroki asks if he's doing well in school. He's not, he says, because he doesn't know where to go when he wants to be somewhere. Hiroki tells him that his mother used to call him sugar all the time, but she stopped calling him sugar when she found out that he was using it to cheat on her. He also tells her that he and his brother don't get along, because Hiroki's mother seems to be closer to his brother than to his own mother. When Hiroki says that he hates his brother, Hiroki admits that he does, but he can't figure out how to say it.
