As the scene opens, we're introduced to a new character. It's none other than the Governess's son, Kamerio. Kamerio's been playing with his father's stuffed animal, but he's worried that his father is going to kick him out of the park because he doesn't like the way his father treats animals. He's also worried that he'll be fired from his job if he does this. He asks Kamerio if he can come back and tell him what happened. The Governess tells Kamerio that he was fired from the company when they "restruc-tured" and that he can't go back to the park.
