The scene opens with a soliloquy by the "yakuza" , who tells the audience that he is not a gentleman and that he does not want to be associated with anyone who does not like him. He asks the audience to "glare make anyone who I dont care about into his fiancé . . or go them" . He tells them that he will be kind to them, but that he was happy that they thought of him, and will be sorry for treating him so rashly. He says that his heart is pounding, and he wants to rub it, but he cannot do so because of the way he looks. He wants to stay by his side forever, and says that if he were to let go, he would not be able to do so. He also says that he has no relation to the man he met in the marketplace, and that if they meet again, he will let him kiss him.
