In this short scene, Shu-Ichiba explains to Shimizu that he is leaving the company of his co-star, Tetahashi, because he has fallen in love with him. He feels that he has been reaping the benefits of his own romantic experiences, but that he was being protected by his friend. He tells his friend that on their first meeting, when he said that he liked the past, he was really happy. He says that he thought that he had been watching his real self, but when he took liking he was a nobody. When his company suggested that he make popularity instantly, he tried to break away from other people, but he felt that he would be hurt if he did so. When he accepted him, he felt like the first time he had ever been accepted by someone.
