The narrator tells the two that they've been working on a movie together for a month now, and that he just passed an audition for the role of a co-star. He also tells the narrator that he and the other co-actor are going to be living together as part of the preparation for their roles. The two of them have been avoiding each other, the narrator says, because they don't want their "nature" to be discovered. The men agree to continue working together.
