Caught in the Act

The next morning, Ming and his son, Haiming, arrive at the house of Ren Yuchang, an actor who has won multiple awards for his work in the film industry. Ming asks Haiming if he knows Ren, and Haiming tells him that he is Ren's mentor, and that he has been living with him and his family ever since Ren retired. Haiming and Ming greet each other, and Ming tells Haiming that it is nice to see him again. They go inside to have tea with Ren, who has just finished a movie and is on a break from his consulting work. He invites Haiming to stay with him, and they go outside to have fun with the dogs. He tells Hai Ming that he and Ren are very close, and he asks if it is true that they are divorced. Hai Ming says that he wants to know this, but he cannot hear him.
