The next day, Ding Wenxun goes to an audition for a murder story. He tells the guy that he's going to ask him to pretend to be the murderer in order to be considered for the part. He's worried that the guy is going to drink himself to death if he doesn't get the part right away. The guy tells him that he left the audition because he didn't want to tell him what happened to his girlfriend at the wedding. He wants to know why he left without telling him. He also wants to ask someone to find out what's happening with the project. He asks if they can check out the script to see if there's anything they can do to help him out. They get a message back saying that the script has been sent and that they're going to give the guy a chance to show up for the audition the next week. He says that what he did wasn't good enough for the role and that he hopes that Xingcheng gets the part because he needs time to figure it out.
