The woman tells the young woman that she has married a man named "Kagemitsu," and that she and her husband are expecting their first child. The girl is confused by this news and asks the man if he would like to marry her. The man says that he would, but that he does not want to marry a woman who is not his wife. She asks him if he has ever thought of marrying a woman other than his wife, and the man says he has never thought of such a thing. He then asks the girl if she has ever considered marrying a man other than her husband. She says she has, and he tells her that she should think of marrying someone else.
