In this chapter, Huck and taka go on a trip to celebrate Huck's new job. Huck tells us that the trip is like "an adult trip" because it's so hot and they're on such a hot day. Huck says that taka has been drinking, which makes his mouth "warmer than usual" . Huck asks taka if he'll do the "dump pull" on him today, but taka says that he's always the one who does it for him. Huck worries that he might not be able to pull it off as well as taka does, but he says he doesn't know how. Huck is so excited that he can't wait to go.
