The narrator tells us that he made Eiji cry when he found out that she was going out with a woman. Eiji's mother, however, was the one who was jealous. The narrator says that she saw her talking to the narrator when she came to pick up Eiji and his teachers. She told the narrator that Eiji was in total shock and that he must have been mad at her. He has not responded to her calls or answered her questions. She says she misses him terribly.
