The next morning, Mingshen wakes up to find himself in the middle of an argument with a woman named Cai-Chuhan. He asks her to calm down, but she refuses to do so. He tells her that he's just had a fight with Lin-Ming, and that he doesn't want to fight again. He's not going to fight another time, he says, because he has a habit of recording everything he does. He says that since he bumped into her, time has been "disrupted" , and he'd like to know what she'll say. She'll tell him where her brother is, and where her sister is. Mingshe says that he can't reconcile with her, but he'll let her experience her rebirth himself, if he has the memory of it, and then he can figure out a way to get away from her.
