The conductor of the bank's main branch, who has been kicked out of his job because of his association with a woman who sold her body, is welcomed by the branch manager. The branch manager tells the conductor that the woman he works for is younger than he expected, and that the branch is one of the worst performing branches in the area. The conductor, however, does not believe him. He asks the manager to take care of the branch so that it does not close down.
