The Governess is unable to call on the Governess because she has been busy with other business. She calls on the Touchstone to come and see her, but he refuses, saying that he cannot call on her at this time. She asks him to come in, and when he does, she tells him that he is welcome to stay, but that he must leave immediately. She tells him to kiss her, and he does so, licking her lips as he goes.
