Sookhee and his father meet outside the town hall, and sookhee explains that he has been forced to come to work because of the Dean. He wants to get some fresh air, so he's going to go outside to get it. He's afraid that someone will see them, but he doesn't want to be sad if they don't go outside. He says that he can't get his legs to move as he wants, so it's getting fuller and fuller . He tells his father that he'll show him through his actions, and he says that the woman in the picture is the wife of Jaeduk, and that she's so sexy that she looks "delicious" . Then he says, "smack smack ah" , which means that she is his wife, and the man in the photograph is his dad, and they've been in a sexual relationship, and now that they're married, he'd like to meet them. He asks his father to come outside and look out the shed behind the city hall, where he can see the woman going alone at night. He wonders where she is, and wonders if this is the right way to go.
