The light is on, and the two of them sit down to talk. The narrator says he has something to say, but he won't say it further. He says he doesn't want to hurt either of them, so they can't end up the same way again. He wants them to start over, and he says they've both done this before, so let's do the same. He's using his feelings, he says, and says he's used his feelings to do this with her before, and she's done it before, too. He asks her if she wants him to introduce her to a girl, but she says no, because she looks manly when she does it. The two of you are late, and it's a shame that she didn't get to do it earlier, because it would have been nice to have done it in advance.
