The scene opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which the narrator complains about the way his wife has treated him. She complains that he has not called her husband after he left, and she complains that she has not been able to move from one lady to another. She also complains about how her husband has not spoken to her even though he has left. The narrator tells her that she should have called him, and he responds that she must have been busy playing with the other men. She tells him that it is a nice day at the amusement park, and that she is excited to see her wife's uncle there. He is a good-looking man with money. She asks him if he would like to go on a date with her. He responds that he would, and they go off together. She says that she does not want to go because no one else is going to be there during this time, but she is afraid to go out because she is scared. She tries to convince herself that she did not go out to do this, but when she hears someone approaching, she tries to stop them, saying that she didn't go to this place to do it, but to spread her legs for her. She urges her friend to grab "flip-lick lick" if she plays with the men, and if she does, she will also do the same thing with other women. She warns her friend that she will make her want it, and then she will "make you want it." She tells her friend not to do anything to her, and to stop trying to change her mind. She reminds her friend
