The narrator tells us that he first heard of Tommo when he was still working for a different publishing house. He's heard about the author Kento Shinohara and wants to know why he doesn't publish his latest work. The narrator explains that he hasn't yet read the author's latest work, but that he's "all the rage" right now. Tommo says that he initially thought that the author was selling more copies because of his good looks, but now he thinks that it's his writing that's selling so well. He also says that Kento isn't able to sign new publishing contracts with the new publishing house, so he wrote to Tommo under a pen name and asked him directly if he'd be interested in signing a new contract with the company. He writes back that he wasn't satisfied until he could tell the author directly his thoughts. The next time he goes to a signing event, he tells Tommo that he loves reading his stories. He says that the last magazine issue is "incredibly touching" and that he particularly loved how "elegible" and "true" the stories were. He curses his bad habit of reading aloud, and says he'll do his best to make sure that the next person who comes to the signing event has an opportunity to ask Tommo any questions. He tells the narrator that he didn't have time to ask Kento any of his questions before he left, so the narrator apologizes for asking him about the cream puffs. She says that she can't imagine how Kento could get embarrassed about something like that. She kisses him and says that whenever she does something "cute," she feels the same way.
