In this short scene, we catch up with Kamazuma, who's in the middle of a conversation with his taxi driver. The taxi driver tells him that he's been drinking a lot lately and that he should just chill out and relax. He's not sure what's wrong with him, but he does know that he can't sleep with anyone and he'd rather not be around people who aren't sleeping with him. The cab driver, however, doesn't seem to be having any of this. He says that he likes Minakata, but that she's always been a friend to him, so he can see how she'd like to distance herself from him. He also says that Minakata's feelings for him are completely different than his own. Kamazesuma says that this is his first time having a drink with the cab driver and that it's weird that he hasn't been able to show his feelings to him before. He thinks that if he were in love with someone, he wouldn't be able to do this. But if he was in a bad mood, he would show it. He asks the taxi driver if this was the first time he had had a drink and the driver says that it wasn't. He then asks if he'll ever have another drink with him again. The driver says no, but then he asks if it was just the way he was feeling. The narrator says that if it were the case, then it would be a joke, not a serious one.
