The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find that the apartment in which he works is "pure chaos" . He's relieved that he's found someone who likes him. He tells us that he used to be able to sidestep the people in his life, but lately, he has gotten tired and wants to see him. The narrator coughs and says that he wishes he were awake. He asks if he was feeling okay, and the narrator replies that he was still asleep. He then asks if there's anything he can do to help clean up the apartment, and he says he'll call him up when he gets better. He goes on to say that he doesn't need to hire him through his work, because daiki is kind of like that. He says that the girl he saw the report about yesterday is nice, and that he thinks she's going to date him. When the narrator asks if this means that he is going to get a girlfriend, the girl replies that she likes all the other girls in the world, and she likes him that way, too. He wants to fuck her, he says, but he can't because it's not his business. He also says that if he were in love with her, she would let him do whatever he wanted with her. He leaves the shack and goes to sleep.
