The Governess and Mortimer are on their way back to the office when the Governess notices that her nose is bleeding. She tells Mortimer that she's glad they'll be able to go on the business trip together. She also tells him to be careful about getting too late on the trip, because "something wrong" is about to happen on the way back. She says that she doesn't mind that people call her by her first name, because she knows that he can treat her like "a goddess" or "like dirt" . She's so happy that she can't believe that he would treat her that way. She wonders where he went, and wonders if he started blushing. She realizes that he's got a "thing" for her, and she decides to support him.
