The Governess tells the lady that she's already figured out the secret of her love's affection for her, and she doesn't want the man to leave her company. She's worried that he'll leave her alone, so she asks him to rub her hand, which makes her blush. He does it, and the two of them have a little chat about how much they love each other, and how they'd like to be married one day.
