Mr. wolf smothers Melba with love, but as they continue to date, Melba starts to think that he's just trying to get after her body. Melba is shocked and asks why she's doing this. She's never been with anyone before, and she doesn't know what to do about it. The wolf tells her that even if she were an alpha , she'd still be different from everyone else. He says that Melba's interspecies relationships are "on the table" , and that's why she can't fight it anymore.
