"I love my friend" is the first line of this chapter. It's the first time we've heard the phrase "I'm in love" before, so we're not sure what to make of it. We're guessing that it means "I am in love with you" or something. It doesn't matter what we think of it, though, because it's pretty clear that this is a love scene.
