This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between Atsuya's servant and a man on a gay encounter site. The man asks the servant what he should do when he sees that the man is approaching him. The servant replies that he should go to the meeting place, but the man asks him why he doesn't go to see the man himself. He asks the man if he is "disgusted" by the man's touching him, and the man replies that "nobody questions it" on him all the time. He tells the man that he hates it when the men keep getting all "handsy" with him.
