In this short scene, Mami tries to persuade Little Em'ly to go see her uncle. She's worried that he's been teasing her all night, and she wants to know why he hasn't gone out with her yet. She tries to get him to talk to her about something, but he won't let her go out with him. When she finally gets him to leave, she's so excited that she cries.
