In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito has been tormenting Little Em'ly all night, and that his uncle has come to his house to find out what's going on. When he wakes up, he's shocked to find that his niece is still being teased by her uncle. He's also shocked to learn that he can't leave her alone with him, because she's still in love with him.
